When my friend ask me about whether indonesia will get impact because of Fukushima, Japan nuclear radiation or not. Being honestly, i don't know, but then i told him 'no , fukushima nuclear radiation can not reach Indonesia'.
And then i go to sleep, close my eyes, leaving all behind, stop answering his question, but still in my head thinking about his question. I am trying to collect anything about fact, i am trying to think anything about the thing that can influence Fukushima nuclear radiation to reach Indonesia

I am physics graduated, yes i am learn about nuclear reaction about fusion and fision, but just such away, not really concern about that thing.
So when i woke up in early morning, i reply his text message. By collecting fact which i get while i sleep. me my self, can not even imagine how can my brain collect fact when physicsly i am sleep. But this is it, this is some information that i send to him, so that i hope can reduce his worried about Fukushima Nuclear radiation, whether can reach Indonesia or not.

To say that that radiation can reach Indonesia or not, we have to consider about few things below :
- The blowing wind speed at the time need to be considered as well, whether in a constant wind speed or not.
- Have to consider about direction of the wind such as north, south, west, east . Because the wind is not blowing into the four corners in the same time. Furthermore, whether blowing in one direction for a long time, constant so that can arrive in Indonesia? or the distribution of radiation precisely away from Indonesia, because of a sudden the wind blew toward the other
- How big capacity of Fukushima nuclear reactor, because it affect how much radiation will be released into the air.
- How big the explosive power that can be generated by each nuclear station
- During the process in the air, the radiation particles exposed to rain or not? decays or not?
- In addition, the amount of radiation when it was first released by the Fukushima reactors, still the same when it came to Indonesia or not? and it could be yes or may not.
Here are some scale of nuclear radiation according to publication of the Institute of United States Enviromental Protection
- 50 - 100 mSv cause changes in blood chemistry
- 500 mSv cause nausea within hours after radiation exposure
- 700 mSv cause throw up
- 750 mSv cause hair loss within 2 -3 weeks
- 900 mSv cause diarrhea
- 1000 mSv causebleeding
- 4000 mSv cause die within 2 month if no treatment
- 10.000 mSv cause damage the intestinal lining, bleeding, and can be die within 1 -2 weeks
- 20.000 mSv cause central nervous system damate and lost consciousness, possible to died within in hours or days
